An avant-garde event that could have easily been misplaced for an LA style Hollywood wedding with an East Coast setting could well have been the mistaken setting on every visitor's mind. The enactments of many variations of heroic mentions or the knight-in-shining armor episodically rendered was one such setting to the whim of many eyes devotedly affixed to the couple and the entourage. Could well this have been a wedding raised to an art-form? It surely is suggestive and carries a lightly-clad wonder damsel in waiting who diligently caters to many a whim of the Indian male persona.

The standard drama of villain, hero, heroine rescue, joy, ecstasy simply move in quick successions. The scenes are bright, hued with lovely colors of the sari that softly adhere to every dancer's body. The passion to dance, the melodic swing, the ecstasy almost Romanesque was surely well displayed. There are the tequilas, piquant taste of beer, the sweet smell of wine and the melody on the large visual backdrop "Rang de, rang de" from Devadas was immeasurably the peak of all that was sensual, created thrills in a very secret way to everyone who saw the show.

A welcome twist to a bygone 20th century era. Should this well be the modernity of theatre weddings, dance and celebration? It sure has begun!
