Logixzone Competitions in NYC - Overview With competitors having come to Rutger's University in New Brunswick early Spring, they were there to prove their worth. Now, those who registered for this competition were the bold and courageous ones who dared to compete. Even the feeblest of dancers at age 3 to the oldest of grandmothers age (undisclosed) were there to perform. Having won in the preliminaries, the chosen and selected few will now perform in New York City, Flushing to become the BTC King & Queen of these competitions - a title well endeared by the best of breed. These accomplishments were not a genetic order of accomplishment but nurtured practice, practice, practice to perfection. Now, the cream of talent is here to perform to their best as young as they come that they stand a chance in life to win that coveted title Bollywood Talent Contest King and Queen for singing, dancing in their age categories. Although, names will not be mentioned now since information is being updated, the judges had a difficult time to award points since most competitors tied with equal rank and profile. There was a consensus to come to an arbitrary selection with serious discussions to award the 2nd and 3rd place winners the desired marks. Critique from Talent Asia: Most singers who sang had the ability to hold the melody and deliver, some lacked tone and depth due to the fact their shruti didn't match up at the next quatrain. The others were classically trained and could have thrown their voice some more, but dynamics should be maintained or well controlled. Since most didn't have the music to back, it was a very difficult task for most singers to show their best. Singing techniques aren't easy to master and it requires a certain kind of training and can be molded at any age and will be able to excel with almost a 200% change in them. Talent Asia is now considering training some of the singers to achieve this quality but will cost them up to $2,000 for a six month period in voice training alone. Most singers have not practiced with large bands and will lack the experience and knowledge to accomplish this task, this can now be accommodated at later stages. The dancers were well trained in Kathak, Bharatanatyam and folk dancing. There were many who did a marvelous job on stage and are still commended for their performance. It truly was a memorable experience for many who witnessed the young and the beautiful performing their best, the gift that belongs to the very few. Most dancers were able to bring the needed formats together almost a pose rendered on a photo, but there are a few edges where they did not synchronize the rest of their limbs to match the exactness many wish they saw. At times the dancers were constrained to the very same 5 feet of space when the abundance of the stage was available in terms of space but didn't venture like a few other dancers. Although, most of them did an excellent job most critics would agree they could have done better, but those who did exceptionally well did believe in expressions from the eyes to the toes and some lacked the graces, an ingredient that can never be replaced in an art form rich with spectacular movements.
